What is Evernote Web Clipper?
Have you ever found something of interest on the web, but the next time you visited the same web site it was gone? After that happened to me one too many times, I would tediously copy and paste entire web pages so I could keep the information. That is until I discovered Evernote Web Clipper. With just one click of my mouse I can save a copy and send anything I want directly to my Evernote account.
Evernote Web Clipper is an extension you install in your browser of choice. It works with Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera. Once installed you can save anything you find on the web, including selected text, articles, links, graphics and even entire webpages. That’s right! You have a copy of that information even if it is removed from the internet.
I use Evernote Web Clipper every day! Do yourself a favor and give it a try. The only thing you’ll need to get started is a free Evernote account. To download the browser extension click here. Trust me, you’ll wonder what you did without it.
If you’re not sure what Evernote is, you can read about it in my post from last May, “Evernote: Online Storage and Notetaking Program”.
